Edward Pimental Soares, Jr., 93, of Keaau died March 21 at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired mechanic for the Federal Government and a member of New Hope Hilo. A graveside service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday (April 26, 2023) at Homelani Memorial Park (Ilima Section). Survived by two daughters; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
