Ernest Eiichi Takaku, 90, of Hilo died on Mar. 28 at his residence. Born in Mountain View, he was a retired anthurium farmer and a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Private services. Family requests no flowers and no koden (monetary gifts). Survived by sisters, Michiyo Ishiyama of Hilo, Helen Kondo of San Luis Obispo, California; numerous nieces and nephews.
