The Department of Accounting and General Services (DAGS) announced on April 18 that it will begin surveying seven state cemeteries to ensure accurate land boundaries. The process is set to start on Monday, April 20, with surveyors expected at each property from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, over an estimated ten-week period.

This effort is part of statutory requirements and aims to clean neglected cemeteries. As part of the survey process, drones will be used to capture aerial images of the properties. Homeowners near these sites are being advised about the drone activity during this time.
