Hawaii’s minimum wage will rise to $16.00 per hour starting January 1, 2026. This is the third increase in a planned series that will lead to a final rate of $18.00 per hour by January 1, 2028. The state legislature also passed Act 115 in 2025, which sets a minimum civil penalty of $500 for employers who do not comply with the Wage and Hour Law.
