The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) in Hawaii has announced disciplinary actions for February 2025 concerning individuals and entities holding professional and vocational licenses. The measures include outcomes from contested case hearings or settlement agreements, which respondents may enter to resolve claims and reduce the costs associated with administrative hearings.

The DCCA, along with its state Boards and Commissions, is tasked with ensuring that licensed professionals meet the standards set by state law.

In one notable case, the Real Estate Commission took action against Shelly K.I. Yamamura, also known as Shelley Yamamura, Shelly Obata, Shelly Teruya, or Shelly Constantino. Under case number REC 2023-392-L, the respondent faced a voluntary license revocation and a $5,000 fine. This sanction became effective on February 28, 2025.
