Keanakolu Orchard closes temporarily for maintenance

Keanakolu Orchard, also known as the Humuʻula Orchard, will be temporarily closed for maintenance. The orchard is located at an elevation of approximately 6,000 feet and hosts a variety of non-native fruit trees such as apple, cherry, plum, and apricot.

The closure is scheduled to last until Friday, February 14. Personal collection permits can be obtained online or at the Department of Forestry and Wildlife’s (DOFAW) Hawaiʻi Island District Office in Hilo.
