Mrs. Misao “Nancy” Yamada, age 98, of Hilo, Hawaii, died March 3, 2023 in the Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Hilo, Hawaii on December 3, 1924 and retired as the Assistant Branch Manager of Bank of Hawaii Downtown Hilo Branch. She was a member of the Zonta Club of Hilo and American Heart Association. Private services held. No flowers. No Koden (monetary offerings). She is survived by son, Les Miyasato of Hilo; sister, Masae Lum of Honolulu; sister-in-law, Kay Matsumoto of Hilo; grandchildren, Kelly (Steven) Okoji of Kailua-Kona and Shayn (Clement) Santiago of Kailua-Kona; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
