Consumers with milk allergies or severe sensitivities could face serious or life-threatening reactions if they consume or come into contact with this product. Symptoms of a milk allergy can include runny nose, skin reactions like hives or swelling, itching in the mouth and throat, digestive issues such as diarrhea and nausea, and asthma signs like coughing and wheezing.

In severe cases, milk allergies can lead to anaphylaxis—a reaction that restricts airways and impedes breathing. Signs of anaphylaxis include throat swelling, a significant drop in blood pressure, increased heart rate, chest pain, shock, difficulty breathing, trouble swallowing, pale blue skin color, dizziness or fainting.

Consumers who have consumed the recalled product should inform their healthcare provider if they have a milk allergy. No illnesses or adverse events related to this product have been reported so far.

The FDB recommends consumers check if they purchased this recalled item. To avoid exposure and potential allergic reactions in households with individuals who have milk allergies, it is advised not to open or consume these products.
