Mr. Ryan Hitoshi Okimoto, age 69, of Papaikou, Hawaii, died September 24, 2022 in Keaau, Hawaii. He was born in Hilo, Hawaii on July 23, 1953 and was employed by the State of Hawaii as an Animal Farm Manager at Kulani Prison. “Celebration of Life” service will be held on December 3, 2022 (Saturday), 4:00 p.m., at the Hilo Meishoin Social Hall (97 Olona Street) in Hilo. Casual attire is requested. He is survived by daughter, Jaime Lono of Koloa, Kauai; son, Aaron (Trisha) Okimoto of Hilo; brothers, Lance (Ellen) Okimoto of Papaikou and Neal Okimoto of Keaau; sister, Dale (William) Higa of Pearl City; four grandchildren; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
