Letter to the Editor
The Big Island Times publishes letters to the editor to give citizens a voice in our community. To be considered, letters should provide a unique perspective on an issue, help educate readers, or offer new insight in response to an article.
Be sure to include your name, address, and daytime phone number with all submissions. If you have relevant qualifications on the topic, you may want to include that information in your letter. If you reference public officials or organizations, please include their full names.
Only letters that offer thoughtful discourse are considered for publication.
