Maui-based Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade (Wow Wow) will be opening three franchise locations in Utah, according to a press release by Wow Wow.
In coordination with local entrepreneur Alexa Raynes, Wow Wow will expand its brand further in the contiguous states by opening lemonade stands in Orem and Lehi, the release states. The brand already has locations in California, Arizona and Washington.
Raynes became familiar with Wow Wow on a family trip to Hawaii where she visited the original location in Maui. Every subsequent trip involved a visit to Wow Wow, and when she heard the company wanted to expand into Utah, she jumped at the opportunity.
"Alexa is a go-getter who tackles everything she puts her mind to with great success, and we could not be prouder that she chose Wow Wow as her next venture," said Tim Weiderhoft, CEO of Wow Wow, in the release. "Our best franchisees are ones who are committed to helping others live a healthy and delicious life, and who have strong ties to their community, and that is exactly who Alexa is. We can't wait to see how she grows the brand in Utah."
Wow Wow focuses on healthful offerings and sustainability. Their made-from-craft gourmet lemonades are their specialty, but menu options include original smoothies, bowls and sandwiches.
"One of the first things that stood out and impressed me about Wow Wow is that it does not sacrifice flavor for health. Everything on the Wow Wow menu is fresh, delicious and will leave you feeling great," Raynes said. "There are so many soda shops in the area – and those are great – but I'm looking forward to introducing a healthy option for teens looking for a spot to hang out with friends, fitness fanatics who want their diet to match their workout, busy families looking for something healthy on the go, and everyone in between."
One of the ways Wow Wow supports sustainability is through their Mason jar deposit program, the release states. Patrons can get their drink in a reusable glass jar and reclaim their deposit when they return the jar.
