Census Bureau: More women than men in Waiohinu in 2019

Of the 278 people living in Waiohinu in 2019, 50.4 percent (140) were women and 49.6 percent (138) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Big Island Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 81-to-77. In the 65 and over age range, there were 29 females and 32 males.
