Census Bureau: More men than women in Wainaku in 2019

Of the 1,301 people living in Wainaku in 2019, 45.7 percent (594) were women and 54.3 percent (707) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Big Island Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 470-to-307. In the 65 and over age range, there were 154 females and 155 males.
