Census Bureau: More women than men in Keaau in 2019

Of the 2,613 people living in Keaau in 2019, 54.3 percent (1,420) were women and 45.7 percent (1,193) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Big Island Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 767-to-651. In the 65 and over age range, there were 346 females and 227 males.
