Census Bureau: More women than men in Honomu in 2019

Of the 488 people living in Honomu in 2019, 52.3 percent (255) were women and 47.7 percent (233) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Big Island Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 161-to-149. In the 65 and over age range, there were 48 females and 41 males.
