Census Bureau: More women than men in Honalo in 2019

Of the 2,254 people living in Honalo in 2019, 51.2 percent (1,154) were women and 48.8 percent (1,100) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Big Island Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 567-to-539. In the 65 and over age range, there were 283 females and 246 males.
