Census Bureau: More men than women in Hawaiian Beaches in 2019

Of the 5,320 people living in Hawaiian Beaches in 2019, 49.2 percent (2,618) were women and 50.8 percent (2,702) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Big Island Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 1,622-to-1,516. In the 65 and over age range, there were 455 females and 413 males.
