Census Bureau: More men than women in Hawaiian Acres in 2019

Of the 2,976 people living in Hawaiian Acres in 2019, 47.2 percent (1,406) were women and 52.8 percent (1,570) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Big Island Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 1,000-to-984. In the 65 and over age range, there were 188 females and 297 males.
