Mrs. Elvira Evalani Publico, age 70, of Hilo, Hawaii, died March 22, 2021 in the Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center in Hilo, Hawaii. She was born in Laupahoehoe, Hawaii on October 14, 1950 and was employed as a Senior Accounting Clerk at the former Hilo Coast Processing Company and as a Clerk at the County of Hawaii Department of Motor Vehicles.
Visitation will be held at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo, Hawaii on April 16, 2021 (Friday) from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.; funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at the Hawaii Veterans Cemetery #1 in Hilo, Hawaii at 12:00 noon. Casual attire is requested.
She is survived by son, Scott (Shanna Satomba) Publico of Hilo; brother, Lionel (Carol) Meyer of Hilo; sister, Karen (Darrell) Meyer of Pepeekeo; grandchildren, Josiah Perkins of Hilo and Isaac Publico of Hilo; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
