Frances Rodillas, 94, of Hilo, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Hilo Medical Center, born on November 20, 1926, in Hilo; he was a retired Lt. Police Officer for the Hawaii County Police Department an also a retired 1st Lt. in the US Army. He was a member and Extra-Ordinary Minister at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo and he also was a member of Various Organizations; Ancient Order of Foresters Court Mauna Kea No. 8854, Y.M.I. and Knights of Columbus.
Friends may call on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Visitation from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.; Funeral Services at 10:30 a.m. Face Masks and Social Distancing Required Private Burial with Military Honors to follow at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2
He is survived by sons, Charles P. (Patricia) Rodillas of North Carolina and Francis H. (Martha) Rodillas of Hilo; daughter, Davon (Douglas) Lowrimore of Hilo; brother, Charles Rodillas of Hilo; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; Numerous nieces and nephews.
