Census Bureau: 73.6 percent of people in Waimea were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 11,908 citizens living in Waimea in 2019, 8,758 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 4,839 of those people were female and 3,919 were male.
