The Experience Volcano Festival returns to the Big Island on Saturday, Aug. 14, featuring various Hawaiian cultures, artists, foods and other exciting activities.
Almost all events at the second annual festival are free.
“The first annual Experience Volcano Festival was a celebration of arts and culture,” organizers said. “More than just a gateway to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, the Volcano Area is home to many activities and relaxing opportunities.”
Volcano Village, located on Highway 11 approximately five minutes from the entrance to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, is home to a thriving community of various talented artists, entertainers and creators of local fare. It offers visitors more than 200 accommodations as a temporary home away from your home.
Organizers are inviting vendors and welcome volunteers to be part of the event. Vendor spaces (10'x10') are $40.53 including credit card processing fees. Vendors can request additional space subject to approval and should provide their own tents, tables, chairs or other necessary materials.
Those intending to pay via cash or credit card, please email organizers at experiencevolcano@gmail.com. The vendor form is available at this link. Volunteers may register here.
This year, the Experience Volcano Festival no longer receives State/County grants due to budget cuts relating to COVID-19. Sponsors are gladly welcome and can sign up thru this link.
