Ernest Ruiz, Sr. 90, of Pahoa, passed away on Friday, July l6, 2021 at home, born on January 2, 1931, in Waimea, Kauai; he retired with the Department of Water Supply City of Hayward, California.
Friends may call on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Visitation from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.; Funeral Services at 10 a.m. Face Masks and Social Distancing Required Burial at Homelani Memorial Park (Section 7) at 11:30 a.m.
He is survived by sons, Ernest Ruiz, Jr. of Pahoa and Ricky G. (Sandra) Ruiz of Honolulu; daughters, Marlinda J. Ruiz of Pahoa and Michele N. Ruiz of Hayward, California; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; daughter in-law, Judy Ruiz of Honolulu.
