Enjoy the weekend and the following week on the Big Island with these fun events.

On Saturday, Aug. 28, learn the body’s natural healing mechanisms. Attend the Introductory Energy Medicine Certification Workshop in Kapaau or the Introductory Halai Energy Healing Workshop in Kona from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help you nurture your inner healer.

Every Tuesday, Hilo Toastmasters Club can help you enhance your public speaking skills. This is is a free online event (through Zoom) every Tuesday until Dec. 28, between noon and 1 p.m. 

Every Wednesday, Healthy Hapai is a free online class for expecting parents and families held online between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. until Sept. 1. Visit their website for more information.

Every Saturday, play Scrabble at the Lava Shack in Pahoa. Email celizsolange@gmail.com for more information about the weekly Scrabble game. It is held from 2 to 4 p.m. every Saturday through Sept. 28. Players of all skill levels are welcome, and there is no charge to play.

Every Sunday, The Farmers Market at Hamakua Harvest in Waimea not only offers food products, but also a stress-free ambiance and live music. Visit the weekend market every Sunday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. until December 25.

If you're looking for a daily event, find vintage collectibles, island fruits and many more items to purchase at the Aloha Stadium Craft and Gift Fair in Aiea. Enjoy shopping at the Aloha Stadium from 9 a.m to 9 p.m. The fair will continue until Friday, Oct. 17.
