Edward Asuncion, 74, of Pahoa, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Hilo Medical Center, born on October 28, 1946, in Honolulu; he was a retired Mason and he belonged to Hawaii Mason and Plasterers Union Local 630.
A Memorial Services/ Celebration of His Life will be held at a later Date.
He is survived by children, Edeen T. (Henry G. Acia) Gouveia of Hilo, Ruby (Robert) Kobayashi and Christine (Russel) Asuncion-Mattos of Keaau and Edward A.J. Asuncion of Hawaiian Beaches; sisters and brothers, Lynette (Ronald) Retuta, Rosaline (Paul) Auna of Honolulu, Angel “Gloria” Asuncion, Helena Asuncion, Clayton (Eileen) Asuncion, Kirk Asuncion and Shirley Crawley of Honolulu and Angel (Gail) Sarong of Hawaiian Beaches; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one-great-great-grandchild.
