Every Tuesday, join the  Hilo Toastmasters Club online through Zoom between noon and 1 p.m. Improve your public speaking skills and have fun while doing it. On Wednesday, Nov. 10, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., Halai Healing Place in Kailua Kona or Kapa'au is hosting a Reiki Practitioner Level II Training session. On Saturday, Nov. 13, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., take an Introductory Energy Medicine Workshop at Halai Healing Place in Kailua-Kona. In this beginner-level two-day class, students will learn about Eastern philosophies and study the human energy system, focusing on the chakra system to learn how it influences the body's natural healing abilities. This Sunday and every Sunday, be sure to visit the Farmers' Market at Hamakua Harvest between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. It's located at 44-2600 Mamalahoa Highway in Waimea. The market offers locally produced goods, ono food, live music and a fun atmosphere. The beautiful ocean view and local character provide an ideal gathering place for the whole family.
