Kevin Furuli

Mr. Kevin Furuli, age 57, of Hilo, Hawaii, died October 15, 2021 at home. He was born in Shakopee, Minnesota on May 27, 1964. He was the self-proprietor of Kevin Furuli Diesel Mechanic and formerly employed as a diesel mechanic at local commercial quarry operations and trucking companies. He was a volunteer youth baseball coach for New Hope Angels, and youth girl's softball coach for Hilo Comets. Kevin served in the `Imi Ola Cancer Support Ministry and was a member of New Hope Hilo Church and Hale Pule Ke Ola Hou.
A Celebration of Life Walk Through will be held on December 4, 2021 (Saturday) at New Hope Hilo located at 840 Kupulau Road. Public visitation is from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a private service to follow. Face masks and social-distancing required. He is survived by wife, Andrea Furuli of Hilo, daughter, Phoebe Furuli, and, sons, Ian Furuli and Jonah Furuli of Hilo; sisters, Paula Thompson (David) of Montrose, Minnesota; Cindy Furuli of Honolulu; Jennifer Doyle (Sean) of Bothell, Washington, Hali (Bill) Costello of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, brother, Wayne Furuli, of St. Louis Park, Minnesota; nephew, Jared Furuli (Chelsy) of Hilo; step-mother, Marlene Furuli (St. Louis Park, Minnesota); many in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
