Narcissus “Cissy” Puaokina Adams, 84, of Hilo, died November 3, 2021 at Hilo Medical Center. Born February 10, 1937, in Honolulu, she was a Soldier of The Cross, Ordained Minister with His Highest Praise Ministry, previously served as a Pastor of Overcoming Faith Center – Hilo, employed at Hilo Medical Center and Life Care Center of Hilo.

She is survived by children, Berna May “Kalei” (Zane) Vaught, Mark (Joni) Adams, Abigail (Frank) Meyers, Charlotte (John) Kaauwai, Bernard K. (Iris Y.L.) Adams Jr., Juliana (Raymond) Del Bono, Henry (Valarie) Keahi, Loxley “Babe” (Aron) Hainrrik; brother, Donald G. Laa; sisters-in-law, Laverne “Lovey” Kala, Gertrude “Trudie” Laa; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Leeward Funeral Home is assisting family with burial on Oahu.
