Hilo Community Players has issued the following press release:
A fundraiser event to fund their 2019-2020 theatre season. This fabulous cabaret with take place Friday and Saturday, December 21st and 22nd at 7:30pm, and Sunday December 23rd at 2:30pm, at the East Hawaii Cultural Center’s Kahua ‘Elua performance space. The event will feature some of Hilo’s best talent performing holiday favorites both traditional and contemporary. Tickets are $35 and include not just the show, but also 2 drinks and pupus! Additional drinks will be available for purchase, and options will include beer, wine, signature holiday cocktails, and soda. Tickets are available at Basically Books in Hilo or online at www.HiloPlayers.org. Seating is extremely limited, so purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended.
Featured performances include notable Hilo talent, including Jackie Pualani Johnson, Norman Arancon, Lisa Taylor, Michael Stevens, and many other well-known and beloved performers. Some of the song selection will include numbers like “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “Jingle Bells,” “White Christmas,” and a whole lot more.
