Francis “Lani” Bernard Lincoln, 81, of Pahoa died Jan 9 at the Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Hospice Facility. Born in Hilo, he was a transportation driver for the Hawaii County Economic Opportunity Counsel and a former member of the Hakalau Senior Softball Team. A funeral mass will begin at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday (January 26, 2022) at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire. Seating is limited. Face masks and social distancing to be observed. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry & Mary Lincoln; brothers, Sonny Lincoln, Alexander Lincoln, Valentine Lincoln; sisters, Marion Kanoe, Barbara Amina; granddaughter, Sadie Dizol. Survived by children, Zerna Foo of Mountain View, Avery (Valerie) Lincoln of Glenwood, Jared (Kelly) Lincoln of Hilo, Zaneta (Steven) Sloan of Spring Branch, Texas, Lyman Lincoln of Pahoa; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
