Elizabeth Leinaala Leopoldino, 81, of Hilo died Jan. 8 at her residence. Born in Hilo, she was the retired co-founder of Leo’s Rubbish Service. Visitation from 8–9:30 a.m. Thursday (January 27, 2022) at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Private services to follow. Casual attire. Family requests no flowers. Face masks and social distancing to be observed. Survived by husband, Donald Leopoldino of Hilo; children, Linda (Landis) Embernate of Hilo, Leonard Leopoldino of Hilo, Leighton (Momi) Leopoldino of Hilo, Jeffrey “Scotty” (Toni) Leopoldino of Hilo, Donna (Wayne) DeLuz of Hilo, Kurt “Kaleo” (Colleen) Leopoldino of Oahu; brothers, William “Alote” (Jill) Ma-e of California, Henry (Jackie) Ma-e of Indiana; 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
