George Henry Greenhouse, Jr., 78, of Hilo died Jan. 30 at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kohala, he was retired postal clerk for the United States Postal Service, member of Konko Mission of Hilo and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Private services held. Family requests no flowers and no koden (monetary gifts). Survived by, wife, Jerilyn Kuwada Greenhouse of Hilo; daughter, Cori-Anne Greenhouse of Mountain View; son, Barry (Christine) Greenhouse of Libertyville, Illinois; brothers, Woodrow (Louise) Greenhouse of San Jose, California, Larry (Alice) Aono of Hilo, Ronald Inoue of Hilo, brother-in-law, Kenneth Kuwada of Honolulu; sister-in-law, Gaylien Kuwada of Honolulu; mother-in-law, Jeannette Kuwada of Hilo and Kailua-Kona; three grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and “Chokko”.
