Pete is a curious, young guy who is looking for that forever kind of love! When Pete came into our care as a stray, he was shy, nervous, and reserved. For the past several months, he has been growing and learning in a loving foster home. Pete is a smart guy who is eager to learn. He enjoys tasty snacks and would benefit from enrichment activities like solving food puzzles or using his keen brain to learn new skills. He already knows ''sit'' and ''shake''! Pete gets along with other dogs and currently lives with a cat (he does not interact with the cat, but respects the cat's space!)
Because of Pete's history and behavior, his new home must include the following:
- Must be an indoor pet
- Never left outdoors unattended, or on a tie out or in a kennel
- Secure fenced-in yard
- No children under the age of 12 years old
Pete may be best suited as a homebody type of dog and will likely not be well suited to many adventures away from the home. Given time, patience, love, and understanding, Pete will make a fun, loving canine companion for the right family or individual.
