On Wednesday, March 23, Halai Healing Place will offer an intimate gathering for Reiki practitioners to come together and support each other. These virtual gatherings are limited to only six participants; each will practice Reiki and receive feedback from the group. The cost is on a sliding scale, starting at $30. Space is limited and preregistration is required. Register online at HalaiHealingPlace.com. Gatherings take place between 9 a.m. and noon.

On Saturday, March 26, Halai Healing Place allows you to nurture your inner healer in an Introductory Halai Energy Healing Workshop. This beginner-level two-day class will teach you to utilize the ancient healing techniques of Reiki to access and connect to the life force within. Class size is limited for a more personal experience. Classes are offered online via teleconferencing or in-person at the Kailua-Kona or Kapa'au locations. Classes are $550 per person. Register online at HalaiHealingPlace.com or call 808-987-6010. Workshops are on Saturdays between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Sunday, March 27 — and every Sunday — be sure to visit the Farmers' Market at Hamakua Harvest. Enjoy locally grown produce, handmade goods, live music, and ono food. The market offers a beautiful ocean view and local character, and it's the perfect place to take the family and leashed dogs. Both SNAP and EBT are accepted. The market is located at the intersection of Mamane Street and Highway 19 in Historic Honoka’a Town and is open between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. HubHawaii said, "Drink a coconut, buy a T-shirt, and experience the warm hospitality of Hamakua."
