Mrs. Hatsuko Ishii, age 90, of Pepeekeo, Hawaii, died March 23, 2022 in a private care home in Hilo, Hawaii. She was born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii on February 5, 1932 and worked as a receptionist for Dr. Sam Haraguchi, Dr. Rodney Ono and Dr. Don Matsuura over the course of her career. She was a member of the Honomu Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.
Visitation will be held on April 29, 2022 (Friday) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo, Hawaii from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.; memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m. Casual attire is requested. No flowers.
She is survived by:
Son: Kevin (Laurie) Ishii of Hilo
Daughter: Aline (Robert Wada) Ishii of Honolulu
Sisters: Toshie (Edward) Shirota of Hilo, Hatsumi Kanellos of Chicago, Illinois and Sadako (Harold) Hashimoto of Pearl City, Hawaii
Sister-in-law: Ellen Kansako of Pearl City, Hawaii
