Emmagene “Emmie” Sherman, 95, of Hilo, died May 19, 2022, at Legacy Hilo Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Born in Papaikou, she was a retired owner for Bates Display and Packaging and a Catholic. Survived by daughter, Dianne Poirier of Arizona; son, Robert (Chin) Sherman of Hilo; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews.
