Janet Velez Branco, 101, of Paauilo, died on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at home. She was born on July 21, 1921 in Halawa, North Kohala, Hawaii. She was a housewife. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday (Sept. 10, 2022) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Hilo; Prayer Service at 10 a.m.; burial to follow at Alae Cemetery, Section J. Casual attire and no flowers. Survived by, son, Walter Branco of Paauilo; daughter, Eileen Elisary of Kaneohe, Oahu; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
