Jason Kawika Pacheco, 51, of Hilo, HI, died at home on Friday, October 7, 2022. He was born in Hilo, HI on September 4, 1971 and was a carpenter. He was also a member of the Wainaku Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Jason was a wonderful husband and a great dad who was and is loved by us all. He was a “Jack of All Trades” and mastered them all. He was a hunter and fisherman all of his life and valued and loved the different foods that came from the ocean. He will be deeply missed. Private services were held. He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Kawika Pacheco, Jr. and is survived by his: Wife of 33 years, Darlene Pacheco of Hilo, HI; Son, Dustin Jenette of Honolulu, HI; Daughters, Danielle (Rupert, Jr.) Gomes-Cabral of Hilo, HI, Dionne Marie Jenette (Bronson) DeRego of Honokaa, HI and Jaslene X-enia (Clayton) Kanehailua of Hilo, HI; Mother, Rose K. Pacheco of Ninole, HI; Brothers, Jonas J. Pacheco of Ninole, HI and Joey (Merle) Pacheco of Hilo, HI; 10 grandchildren, Namaiya, Kylah Miura-Jenette, Daytin Jenette, Rupert, III, Ricci, Rayson Gomes-Cabral, Kaleb Jenette-DeRego, Jaston and Cayson Kanehailua; nieces and nephews.
