George Leon 'Iolani Pe'a, 82, of Hilo, Hawai'i, was born on October 3rd, 1940 and passed away at the Hilo Medical Center on Monday, November 7th, 2022. He was an active member of the Keaukaha Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, a custodian for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Hilo and a retired Licensed Massage Therapist. Services will be held at the Hilo Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Friday, November 25th, 2022, with viewing from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM. The committal services will then take place at the Hawai'i Veterans Cemetery #2 pavilion at noon. He is survived by his: Wife, Janice Luana Kuali'i Pe'a of Hilo; Daughters, Shelley Kehaulani Pe'a of Hilo and resides in Pauoa, O'ahu, Stacy Ann U'ilani (Gary) Leaverton of Hilo and Kaleonani (Geno) Cerf of Hilo; Sons, Shayne Leon Kaho'ohiki (Marta) Pe'a of Hilo and Ka'ānohiokalā (Lia) Pe'a of Hilo; Sisters, Ruth Leimomi Pe'a of Hilo, Muncie Lenarose Pe'a of Hilo and Deborah Haleola (Tom) Tsinnijinnie of Hilo and resides in Mesa, Arizona; Brother, Arthur Kalani Pe'a of Hilo; Sister, Beverly Haunani(Kihei) Ahuna of Hilo; Brother-in-law, Paul (of the late Mary Napua Pe'a) Stanley of Hilo; Sister-in-law, Charlene Puamohala (of the late Howard Kahale) Pe'a of Hilo; 13 grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
