Hiromi Howard Horiuchi

Hiromi Howard Horiuchi, 81, of Keaau died on Nov. 25 at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Paia, Maui, he was a retired Forestry Supervisor for the State of Hawaii Department of Land & Natural Resources, avid hunter and fisherman, member of the Hilo Higashi Hongwanji Mission and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Visitation from 9–10 a.m. Saturday (December 17, 2022) at Hilo Higashi Hongwanji Mission; memorial service will begin at 10. Casual attire. Survived by children, Derrick (Janel) Horiuchi of Mililani, Kyle (Crystal) Horiuchi of Washington, Karen Horiuchi of San Francisco, California; sister, Rachael (Peter) Guay of Honolulu; five grandchildren.
