Alana Atkinson McKinney, 89, of Volcano died Jan. 17 at her residence. Born in Hilo, she was a homemaker and volunteer at the Hawaii Volcanos National Park. Private services. Survived by daughters, Laura Dee McKinney of Volcano, Diana (Michael) Thomas of Volcano; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
