Dacusan, 86, of Hilo, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Queen’s Medical Center, born on July 3, 1936, in Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Philippines; she worked for a Macadamia Nut Company and she also was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hawaii. Friends may call on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Visitation from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friends may call again on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Visitation from 8 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.; Services at 9:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park (Lehua Section) at 11 a.m. She is survived by children, Nelly D. (Xavier C.) Elicay of Imus Cavite, Philippines, Mary Ann D. (Lindy) Lulab of Davao City, Philippines, Gilbert R. Dacusan and Joseph R. (Cecille M.) Dacusan of Hilo, Anabel D. (Richard) Pidong of Keaau and Maria Theresa D. (Ross) Smith of Alberta, Canada; sisters, Marilyn Pasion of Buyon Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines and Francisca Dalere of Hilo, 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
