Blane Akira Maebo, 66, of Hilo, died peacefully at home on February 26, 2023. Born on February 3, 1957, in Hilo, he was the owner of Maebo Noodle Factory, Inc. and Maebo International Supply, LLC and member of the Waiakea Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Hilo. Visitation from 3-5 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2023, at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo; memorial service at 5 p.m. Survived by wife, Lehua Nani Maebo of Hilo; son, Jarek Aketo Keoni Maebo of Hilo; sister, Maxine Maebo of Hilo; niece, Chasity (Ryan) Enoka of Hilo, grandnephew, Landen Silva, grandnieces, Kaila Silva, Rylee Enoka; niece, Porsche Leopoldino of Hilo, grandnephews, Cameron Leopoldino, Colton Leopoldino, grandniece, Alexus Leopoldino; and numerous cousins.
