Margaret H. Maeda, 94, of Hilo, HI, died at home on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. She was born in Hilo, HI and was a retired clerk/typist with the Hilo Office of the Hawaii State Dept. of Health. She was also a member of the Church of the Holy Cross. Friends may call at the Church of the Holy Cross on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM. She is survived by her: Daughters, Lauren Maeda of Hilo, HI and Carol (Michael) Lau of Honolulu, HI; Sisters, Patsy Makaea of Hilo, HI and Elsie Kamiyama of Hilo, HI; two grandchildren, Catherine Lau and Ryan (Connie) Lau; nieces and nephews.
