Dan Alan Cole, 72, of Keaau died Mar. 5 at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Ann Harbor, Michigan, he was an inventor, formerly employed at ManTech International Corporation in Germany, veteran of the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, Hawaii Army National Guard and a member of Mensa International. A graveside service will take place at 12 noon Thursday (April 6, 2023) at the East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery #2 Pavilion. Survived by siblings, Carol D. Milazzo of Oregon, Mark H. Cole of Arizona, Michael J. Cole of Australia; numerous nieces and nephews.
