CALL TO ORDER & ROLL CALL
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: The Committee will consider approving the draft minutes from Septemer 12, 2023 & December 20, 2023.
PUBLIC TESTIMONY ON AGENDA ITEMS: Pursuant to § 92-3, HRS, interested persons who want to provide oral testimony may do so now, or at the time the specific agenda item is called. Public testimony may be limited to three (3) minutes in length per agenda item.
BUSINESS:
1. General Plan Comments Discussion - Discussion regarding any committee comments that the South Kohala CDP Action Committee wants to convey to the Planning Department regarding the County of Hawai'i's Draft General Plan 2045.
2. Overview of CDP Action Committee Purpose and South Kohala CDP Implementation Priorities for 2024 - Brief presentation by Planning Department staff on the background and purpose of the CDP action committees. Discussion to establish which implementation projects the committee will pursue in 2024 based off findings from the South Kohala CDP document.
3. Proposed New Meeting Schedule - The Planning Department staff will propose a new meeting schedule for the members' consideration and discussion.
AGENDA FOR NEXT MEETING: Committee members will discuss potential agenda items for the next meeting.

The Planning Department is currently seeking applicants for the South Kohala Action Committee and is requesting assistance to get the word out to interested community members.
