The Hawai‘i Department of Health (DOH) Food Safety Branch has given Redfish Poke by Foodland the green light to reopen its doors. This decision comes after a follow-up inspection on May 13, 2024, confirmed that all critical food safety violations had been rectified.
Redfish Poke by Foodland, situated at 2375 Ala Wai Blvd., was previously issued a red placard and subsequently closed on May 10, 2024. However, a subsequent inspection three days later revealed that all violations had been successfully addressed.
The food establishment has been advised to continue monitoring and maintaining proper drainage.
The DOH Food Safety Branch is tasked with protecting and promoting the health of Hawai‘i residents and visitors. This is achieved through the education of food industry workers and regulation of food establishments across the state. The branch conducts routine health inspections of food establishments where food products are prepared, manufactured, distributed or sold.
