DOH approves reopening of Dragon Tea after resolving violations

The Hawai‘i Department of Health (DOH) Food Safety Branch has approved the reopening of Dragon Tea, issuing a green placard on June 6, 2024. The establishment, located at 1339 N. School St. Unit 104 in Honolulu, had previously received a red placard and was closed on June 3, 2024.

A follow-up inspection conducted on June 6, 2024, confirmed that all violations had been resolved. The food establishment has been advised to monitor and maintain its wastewater disposal systems to prevent future issues.

The DOH Food Safety Branch is responsible for protecting and promoting the health of Hawai‘i residents and visitors by educating food industry workers and regulating food establishments statewide. The branch routinely inspects facilities where food products are prepared, manufactured, distributed, or sold.
