Businesses in Hawaii that registered during the first quarter of the year can now submit their annual reports online. The deadline for filing these reports is March 31, 2025, at midnight (HST) to avoid incurring a late fee.

The costs for submitting Hawaii's annual business reports online are as follows: $12.50 for LLCs, profit corporations, and LLPs; $2.50 for nonprofit corporations; and $5.00 for partnerships. Accepted payment methods include credit card, eCheck, or an eHawaii.gov subscriber account.

Businesses are advised to regularly check their information online and ensure timely submission of reports to maintain good standing. This status may be necessary for securing contracts, loans, and other forms of business support. A $10 late fee will apply per year if there is a delay in filing.

The designated quarters are January through March for the first quarter; April through June for the second quarter; July through September for the third quarter; and October through December for the fourth quarter.

Business owners should be wary of any communication not originating from the state of Hawai‘i Business Registration Division (BREG). "BREG does not utilize or endorse the services of any third-party company to collect or file annual business reports." More information can be found at https://cca.hawaii.gov/breg/public-alerts/.

Since January 1, 2023, reminders from BREG have shifted from mailed notices to an electronic notification system called MyBusiness Notifications available at https://hbe.ehawaii.gov/documents/notify/myNotifications.
