The Hawai‘i State Commission on Fatherhood (HS-COF) has announced its 2025 awards and sponsorship opportunities. These initiatives aim to recognize and support fathers, businesses, and nonprofit organizations that contribute to strengthening families and communities across the state. The awards highlight the commission's dedication to promoting healthy family relationships by emphasizing the essential role fathers play in their children's lives.

Applications for these awards must be submitted by Friday, April 16, 2025.

The Aloha Father of the Year Award acknowledges exceptional fathers and father figures from various counties and districts who have prioritized their families while managing careers and community involvement. This award is open to any male caregivers who demonstrate commitment and love for their families. Community members are encouraged to nominate inspiring fathers who make a positive impact.

The Parent-Friendly Business of the Year Award honors businesses that prioritize employee well-being and foster a supportive work environment. Eligible businesses should demonstrate leadership in creating a family-friendly workplace.

Additionally, the HS-COF offers financial support through a Sponsorship Award of up to $1,500 for Hawai‘i-based nonprofit organizations providing programs or services related to fathers. These funds can be used for Father's Day events, fatherhood programs, or other community initiatives but must not cover payroll expenses.
